Cliffside Town

Level Design
The initial concept for this level was a town on a cliffside. I created a storyboard that focused my creative vision on what I was trying to achieve. I used the large tower to draw and attract the attention of the player toward where they intended to move.

Guiding the Player
I used a combination of landmarks and guiding objects such as lamp posts of mud on the ground. The large tower in the background is meant to intrigue the player into moving toward the tower and exploring the map.

Code
The movement and mechanics of the level use a combination of a ledge climbing mechanic and hidden platforms to jump across to progress through the level.
