Level Design

I wrote various object's functionality in the game. I particularly enjoyed creating the bubble abilities. The bubble projectile had the feeling of a floaty bubble and shooting crates with it would make a bubble surround the crate and cause the crate float in the air.

I was tasked with designing the ability system in the game for the main character and I wanted it to be easy to add and remove abilities for the other designers. I set up a system where the other designers working on the game could just add their own code to a state and put it on the character.

I designed a level for the game while in the prototyping phase. It was supposed to be an open area leading to a town with walls. However, early on the decision was made to cut the level because it didn't fit the theme of the game overall.
